Presentation Supports Corzo Center Educational Outreach Initiative
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – November 10, 2014 – Frank Taney, principal of Taney Legal LLC, presented on “Forming a LLC in Pennsylvania” in support of the programming offered by the Corzo Center for the Creative Economy at Philadelphia’s University of the Arts on October 23, 2014.
The Corzo Center (www.corzocenter.uarts.edu) is an University of the Arts initiative that seeks to empower enable creative arts entrepreneurs to build viable enterprises around their business ideas. In support of this initiative, the Corzo Center offers programs, workshops, seminars, education and mentorship to these entrepreneurs.
Taney used an interactive, online presentation that the Corzo Center developed to instruct the audience on the legal and business issues involved with forming a Pennsylvania limited liability company and conducting business through such an entity. Taney’s presentation addressed a wide range of issues, including intellectual property, choice of business entity, taxation and business licenses. After the presentation, he also answered the audience’s individual questions.
